On this 8 km moderately difficult 4 hr experience, we’ll explore the wild and rugged lower slopes of the Dunkerron Mountain as we discover the three lakes above Sneem. We meet at Álaind Lodges, Moularostig Sneem, V93AC80 at 9:45 AM with time to enjoy a quick tea/coffee and introduction.We’ll enjoy views of Dromtine, Coomnacronia and Eagles Lake with the impressive Coomanassig waterfall. This walk combines stone paths and unmarked trails across open moorland. Some extended periods of gradual ascent require a reasonable level of walking fitness. Suitable clothing, waterfproof boots and a walking pole are required.
