The Dunkerron Mountains in Sneem are a geological wonderland and home to a number of Ireland’s highest peaks. Exploring on these ‘challenging/difficult’ hikes is a real adventure.

Day 1 -   Staigue Mountain Ridge Walk - Moderate; 12Km; 4.5-5 Hrs; height gain 500m; max height 450m.

Day 2 -  Climbing one of the Top 100 Irish Peaks - Strenuous; 8-12Km, height gain 500m+; max height 773m; 4.5-5 Hrs.

Four Night Package:

Day 3 - Slievenashashka's Hidden Wilderness - Strenuous; 11Km; height gain 550m; max height 590m; 5 Hrs.

You should bring waterproof boots, waterproof jacket & over trousers and backpack.

As we may be walking through boggy ground, I recommend gaiters and walking poles too.

You should also have a hat, gloves, extra thin warm layers, thick hiking socks,  water bottle & lunchbox.

You may also wish to bring a personal first aid kit and sunscreen / insect repellent.
